Square integration overview
Delighted’s Square integration allows you to quickly and easily trigger Delighted surveys following payment events in Square.
Setting up the Square integration

- Log in to your Delighted account and click "Integrations"

- Click on the " Square" tile
- 3
- Click "Connect & Turn On"
- 4
- When redirected to Square, you'll be prompted to authorize access. Click "Allow"

- When redirected back to Delighted, configure your delay settings
- 6
- Optional: Select the option for a one-time backfill of surveys for historical orders
- 7
- Click "Save & Turn On"
The integration has been set-up!
What details passed over with Square responses?
We pull in the following property data associated with each Square payment/subscription:
Payment Related Properties:
- square_payment_id
- square_payment_created_at
- square_payment_amount
- square_payment_status
- square_payment_source
- square_payment_reference_id
- square_payment_note
- square_payment_receipt_number
Customer Related Properties:
- square_customer_id
- square_customer_name
- square_customer_postal_code
- square_customer_locality: i.e. city
- square_customer_reference_id
- square_customer_note
Merchant Location Properties:
- square_location_id
- square_location_name
- square_business_name
Every Record will have the following properties:
- Delighted Backfill: true/false
- Delighted Source: square
How does the backfill work?
The backfill will send surveys to 10% of customers with payments from the past 6 months.
Can I set a custom survey delay?
Yes!
