How the throttle period works

Throttling automatically ensures that the same person isn’t shown a Template more than once in a set time period. If the throttle period has not elapsed, we will skip sending — ensuring you complete control over how often your respondents will be surveyed!

The throttle period is compared against the exact amount of time (counted in days) from the last time a person (identified by their email address or phone number) was sent or shown a survey from the same Template. Throttling helps avoid over-surveying and survey fatigue.
